Advanced Coating Initiative Limited offers a comprehensive range of thermal spraying solutions in Aberdeen, the heart of Europe’s energy Industry.
ACI Ltd was founded in Portlethen (2004) following a management buyout of the surface-technologies division of a major gas turbine overhaul and service company. Our directors have over 30 years combined experience within the oil and gas industry, 23 of which within thermal spraying.
In 2008, ACI Ltd was the first company in Europe to offer InnerArmor®. Using Hollow Cathode Plasma Immersion Ion Processing (HCIIP), InnerArmor® is the first process capable of applying diamond hard coatings onto internal surfaces.
Since 2004, ACI Ltd has established itself as a leading player in the thermal spray coating industry, and in 2009 relocated to a new site in East Tullos Industrial Estate, Aberdeen. Today our spray coatings services include:
